The close couplers also allow the locomotive to run in double traction in the model and the formation of complete train sets is possible in prototypical fashion. A powerful motor with a flywheel gives the model excellent running characteristics. The multiple unit has a PSD XP sound decoder including a large loudspeaker ex works.
