The large side surfaces and the smooth roof of the class 152 embody the locomotive construction of the 1990s. The new PIKO model on a scale of 1:87 excellently reproduces this overall appearance. Equally great importance was attached to details in the design and tool construction: this is underlined by the extremely three-dimensional engravings of the ventilation grilles and bogies with an excellent visual depth effect. A powerful central motor serves as the drive, two flywheel masses also cultivate the running characteristics and diagonally arranged traction tires enable the transport of impressive loads. In digital operation, the driver’s cab lighting can be switched digitally. The model is prepared for the uncomplicated retrofitting of a digital decoder and sound.
