Equally great value was placed on details in the design and tooling: extremely plastic-looking engravings of the ventilation grilles and bogies with excellent optical depth effect underline this. Technically, the model continues the proven line of PIKO designs. A powerful mid-mounted motor serves as the drive, two flywheels additionally cultivate the running characteristics and diagonally arranged traction tires enable the transport of stately loads. In digital operation, the cab lighting can be switched digitally. The sound version of the locomotive is equipped ex works with a PSD XP 5.1 S sound decoder of the latest generation. Another highlight of the class 151 is the PIKO TrainSound® onboard.
