Steam locomotive BR 93, DR. Epoch III
In 2023, PIKO will also be presenting the shapely class 93.0 in the Deutsche Reichsbahn version. During the implementation of the model, particular importance was attached to the reproduction of the specific features of the prototype. In addition to the two-domed boiler, the DR-typical water box attached to the right catches the eye. The vehicle has a rain gutter on the driver’s cab. The handles on the front and driver’s cab, like the many cables, are free-standing and make the DR BR 93.0 a real gem. Thanks to the modern PluX22 interface, retrofitting a digital decoder is possible in no time at all. In addition, the locomotive is prepared for retrofitting with sound and the installation of a steam generator.
