Thanks to its modular design, the Stadler multiple unit, which is popular in operational service, has been a highly sought-after rail vehicle by many model railway enthusiasts right from the start. PIKO responded to this customer demand and developed both the GTW 2/6 and the GTW 2/8 as H0 models. PIKO attached great importance to the precise reproduction of the futuristic appearance, whereby the head shapes of the different multiple unit variants, which differ from each other in their external appearance, were consistently modelled. Model railway enthusiasts will appreciate the separate and form-fitting windows, the numerous fine engravings, the highly detailed reproduction of the bogies and the precisely designed roof-mounted pantographs (on the electric variants). The model is equipped ex works with a PSD XP sound decoder with the largest possible loudspeaker.
