Details & Specs

Diesel locomotive BB 60000, SNCF.  Epoch VI
The PIKO model of the striking BB 60000 diesel locomotive shows all the relevant details of its prototype and impresses with the finest paintwork and printing, attached handle bars and railings, sharply engraved bogie panels and correctly executed, filigree lamps. The lighting is done by LEDs. The standard built-in driver’s cab lighting and the taillights, which function depending on the direction of travel, can be controlled digitally with a PluX22 decoder. A powerful five-pole motor with two precisely balanced flywheels drives all four axes and ensures excellent driving characteristics. The PIKO model also has a heavy zinc die-cast frame for high tensile forces. An uncomplicated retrofitting with sound and the largest possible loudspeaker is prepared on the clearly designed circuit board with PluX22 interface. Optional attachable brake hose dummies and closed replacement aprons are included with the model of the BB 60000. The sound version with the factory-installed PIKO sound decoder masters the data formats DCC with RailComPlus®, Motorola®, Selectrix® and M4. The built-in loudspeaker is matched to the type of locomotive. Many typical locomotive noises such as engine noise, horns, brake squeal and other switchable functions can be called up individually. Sound is also possible in analog mode – only engine noise.
