The large sides and smooth roof of the class 152 embody the locomotive construction of the 1990s. This overall appearance is excellently reproduced by the new PIKO model in 1:87 scale. Equally great value was placed on details in the design and tooling: extremely plastic-looking engravings of the ventilation grilles and bogies with excellent optical depth effect underline this. Technically, the model continues the proven line of PIKO designs. A powerful mid-mounted motor serves as the drive, two flywheels additionally cultivate the running characteristics and diagonally arranged traction tires enable the transport of stately loads. In digital operation, the cab lighting can be switched digitally. The model is prepared for easy retrofitting of a digital decoder and sound.
