With the EN57, PIKO is responding to another request made by Polish model railroad fans. The distinctive features of the original have been reproduced exactly. These include the roof equipment, filigree pantographs, the realistically reproduced lamps, and the replicated interior. The paintwork and printing are based on the era. The close couplings also allow a drive in double traction in the model, the formation of entire train sets is possible in a prototypical manner. A powerful motor with a flywheel gives the model excellent driving characteristics. Digital operation is already prepared by means of a plug-in interface.
