Before the development of modern silo cars, fine-grained goods had to be packed in sacks or transported in the typical hinged-lid cars. In order to make loading and unloading by hand more effective,special silo wagons for compressed air discharge were created. The Feldbinder Uacns 82.4-4/1 for transporting dust and bulk materials represents a modern variant of a silo truck and has a pneumatic loosening system to speed up unloading times. It has a capacity of 82,000 liters and a length of 16,240 mm. The tare weight of the wagon is approximately 18.80 t, and the wheelset load is 22.50 t.
